BARTENDER

BARTENDER: Responsibilities and Duties
(Job duties include but are not limited to)
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with recipes
Deliver drinks and food in timely manner while providing friendly and attentive service
Cut fruit and garnishes for drinks in accordance with recipes
Stock bar and ensure cleanliness behind the bar at all times
Respond promptly to patron requests in a polite and professional fashion
Arrange glasses and bar equipment
Restock bar
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Comply with established safety and sanitation standards
Adhere to company policies and standard procedures

BARTENDER: Skills and Qualifications
MUST have 3+ years of bartending/craft experience
MUST be 21+
MUST have flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays
Deep understanding & knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits (mezcal & tequila +++), beer and wine.
Bar smarts cert +++
Current food handler’s card and other certification as required by federal/state/local law
Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
Able to work in a high volume and fast paced work environment
Able to perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision
Accuracy and high attention to detail
Demonstrate honesty and integrity
Possess a clear understanding of weights and measures

SERVER

SERVER: Responsibilities and Duties
(Job duties include but are not limited to)
-Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section
-Taking customers' food and drink orders
-Collaborating with the kitchen and staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
-Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant
-Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
-Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
-Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups
-Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations

SERVER: Skills and Qualifications
-Prior experience in a food-serving establishment
-ServSafe Certified a +
-Highly developed interpersonal skills
-Knowledge of Toast (POS system) is a +
-High level of stamina to work standing for extended periods
-Ability to work well under intense time pressure
-Dedication to on-time arrival for shifts
-Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and carry trays, plates and smallwares
-Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
-Ability to safely transport food or beverages to a table of three in a single trip
-Polite, hospitable attitude and could work as a team member

HOST or HOSTESS

HOST: Responsibilities and Duties
(Job duties include but are not limited to)
-Cheerfully greet and seat customers appropriately in server sections -Maintain an orderly customer flow and strategic seating arrangements
-Communicate customer feedback and assist servers when necessary
-Maintain clean, organized, and undamaged menus
-Help servers clear and wipe tables
-Attend all departmental meetings and training sessions as requested/assigned

KITCHEN: COOK AND LEAD COOK

COOKS + LEAD COOK: Responsibilities and Duties
· Pride in ensuring the best quality and is produced in a timely manner
· Managing inventory of food
· Controlling budget and keeping accurate records
· Putting high importance to health and hygiene procedures
· High standards of restaurant cleanliness and safety standards
· Setting up work stations with all ingredients and cooking equipment
· Preparing meal ingredients (chopping, peeling, and cutting...etc)
· Organizing, training and developing staff
· Ability to organize and plan your own work

COOKS + LEAD COOK: Skills and Qualifications

· Serv-Safe / California Food Handlers Certificate
· Available to work up to but not guaranteed 40 hours a week, including nights/weekends
· Ability to deal and adapt to unexpected situations
· Prior experience in a similar position
· Ability to work in close quarters and stand for long periods of time
· Pleasant personality and ability to get along with co-worker
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

KITCHEN: Dishwasher

DISHWASHER: Skills and Qualifications
Must be reliable
Reliable transportation to work
Ability to multi-task
Be able to lift 25lb+

KITCHEN: PREPS

PREPS: Responsibilities and Duties
Preparing meal ingredients for the Cook, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients.
Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks.
Properly washing and drying all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards.
Neatly putting away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places.
Packing take-out orders as needed.
Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans.
Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required.
Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards
